The 3-wheelin' Daymak Spiritus is an electric vehicle that rides like a go kart, serves as an urban commuter, and goes from 0 to 60...and $19,995 to $149,000 in 1.8 seconds. Let me explain.
Maker Daymak Avvenire designed the Spiritus as a feature-rich EV for car enthusiasts who also care a bit about the environment. It comes in Deluxe and Ultimate models, both 2-seaters with the same sleek body style and standout aesthetic. The Deluxe has the more accessible $20K price point, and a perfectly respectable range of 180 miles per charge. It can reach top speeds of 85MPH for zippy trips to the office or around town on date night.
But where the Spiritus Deluxe requires 6.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60, it's equally electric Ultimate counterpart has been genetically enhanced to do it in 1.8 seconds. The Spiritus Ultimate also has an increased top speed of 130MPH, as well as a 300-mile range. It also incorporates carbon fiber bodywork, wireless charging, autonomous driving and tire sensors, and automatic scissor opening doors. Both versions of the Spiritus further their eco-friendly efforts with the use of solar panels for non-mechanical systems.
At printing, the Spiritus Deluxe and Spiritus Ultimate 3-wheel electric cars were available for pre-order with a down payment.
