Shelby Baja 700
Ski and snow machining season may be over, but next up: car camping and red dirt road runnin' season. And if you need a truck preying beast to serve as your 4-wheeled chauffeur, Shelby is offering up 50 of its limited edition Baja 700s.
Using the Ford SVT Raptor as a platform, Shelby has first given the Baja a few extra horsepower. Plus-one all the way up to 700 thanks to a Whipple supercharger system consisting of a throttle body, injectors, and a heat exchanger. The truck is also fitted with a competition-designed suspension from Rogue Racing and BFGoodrich K02 18 rubber. According to Shelby, "To call the Baja 700 a 'Raptor' is like calling the SR-71 a jet."
Additional features include a Borla exhaust, 3" King coil overs and bypass rear shocks, and Rogue Racing Upper and Lower control arms. Baja 700 branding appears on the truck's tailgate, fender vent, and along the sides via a stripe package.
