On behalf of Does It Fart?: The Definitive Field Guide to Animal Flatulence I'd like to ask: is Pulitzer taking entries for 2018 yet? Or is there at least some sort of illustration award we can add Ethan Kocak's name to consideration for? Because while Does It Fart? authors Nick Caruso and Dani Rabaiotti provide research and written discussions that solve the great mystery of whether or not many of our favorite animals pass the gas, it's Kocak who had the formidable task of depicting dozens of lifted legs, raised tails, and poot! clouds in clear and delightful line drawings for the TL;DR fart-curious amongst us.

In their Definitive Field Guide to Animal Flatulence the trio takes an in-depth look at 80 different animals, from birds to salamanders to hyenas, the latter of which not only fart, but apparently rip some particularly putrid bung blasts. In addition to a simple "Yes," "No," or "Maybe," answer to the question, Does It Fart? relays information on how big, often, and odiferous the animals' colon blows are. As a white elephant or novelty gift, you're pretty much guaranteed Does It Fart? will be a gas.
