Mattel's handheld Classic Football gets sized for even smaller hands in this mini version of the iconic 70s game. Calling it a "keychain" is a bit of a stretch - unless you like stuffing keychains the size of Little Debbie Fudge Brownies in your pants - but the game is definitely small enough to tuck in a bag or winter coat pocket. And to pull out for inconspicuous play during excruciating work meetings and Tinder dates.
Presuming you remember to mute the mini Classic Football's classic sound effects.
Mattel has shrunken and stuffed all elements of the full-size handheld into the Classic Football Game Keychain. Use your fast and nimble fingers to dodge tacklers and drive the running back towards the end zone. Or settle for a field goal.
Now a retro issue itself, the original Mattel Classic Football Game Keychain came out in the early 2000s. But here it looks like they've redone the packaging and "whitened" the case design from the previous version's beige. This Classic Football keychain may also be a bit smaller at 2.75" tall x 1.6" wide.
