We've seen SKEYE's Mini. And then its Nano. Now to complete the family: the runt of the litter, Pico. At least I hope this is it for the SKEYEs. I don't know about you, but SKEYE Embryo is where I draw the line.
Pico, it seems, was made for indoor performance, for buzzing around the office and your girlfriend's head when she's trying to watch some awful TV show about women trying on wedding dresses. At just 0.25 ounces and 0.87" long x 0.87" wide x 0.75" tall, Pico is quick and nimble as a hummingbird. It can take off from the tip of your finger, or find an instant hover after being tossed in the air. In flight, the baby drone can still do all of the same flips, zips, and dives its big brothers can; 6-axis controlled acrobatics are in the SKEYE genetic code.
The Pico also features built-in LED lights for night flights. When not in use, the quadcopter stores inside its own controller. Pico charge time is 30 minutes for 7 to 8 minutes of flying time. RC distance is up to 50 meters. The package includes an orange Pico, USB charging cable, 4 x replacement rotor blades, and a 4-channel, 2.4Ghz transmitter.
