Nobody show the Liteboxer to She-Ra: Princess of Power. She just barely crammed a Peloton into our dining room - it's the new head of the table - and I know if she sees this new rhythm-based boxing fitness machine our sectional sofa is gonna lose a section.
The Liteboxer is a connected boxing platform that "knocks out boredom by immersing you in music, competition and punches." Its LED-lit targets and trademarked Rhythm Technology sync to the beat of the music pumping from the attached Liteboxer speaker, cueing you to punch along to the 8-count at your selected level of difficulty. Kind of like playing Whac-A-Mole in the club.
The Liteboxer companion app comes with a variety of types and levels of training sessions, including a growing collection led by boxing trainers. You can also supplement the intense cardio partio with Liteboxer's functional strength training and yoga-based workouts.
In addition to training punching speed and accuracy, the Liteboxer machine has force sensors that track your striking power; all metrics are recorded and stored for tracking your progress.
Liteboxer connects via wifi to phones or tablets to load workouts; you can also mirror content from your device to a TV with Apple TV or Google Chromecast.
The Liteboxer machine has a 37.5" x 55.5" footprint that's sized specifically for home gyms (and spaces previously occupied by couches in living rooms). Its flashy "punching bag" is adjustable for people of all heights.
