Celestron 5 MP LCD Digital Microscope
Whomever posted all their slide shots to the Celestron InfiniView Digital Microscope listing on Amazon sure liked looking at bugs. Check out that white one. What is that, a dust mite? That thing is sick, dude. But it does answer all of my questions about how the Sigourney Weaver someone came up with that terrorizing face of the Alien Queen. Inspiration in microscopic form. Very nice.
Celestron's 5MP microscope has a 3-1/2" TFT LCD screen and, with magnification capabilities of up to 200x, functions at a professional level. In addition to projecting digital images, the apparatus also includes onboard software and a Micro SD card slot for recording images, as well as short video clips. If the vibrant, hi-res images InfiniView endeavors to depict on its own screen aren't vibrant or hi-res enough for you, the package includes a TV output for viewing slide displays on any screen, plus Celestron's Portable Capture Pro software for PC integration. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the microscope for around 2 hours in the field so aspiring entomologists can spend plenty of time scrounging around for the very best bug specimens to serve as models for future Ridley Scott franchises.
