FitAir Portable & Wearable Air Purifier
I don't know about clipping a FitAir air purifier to my arm like a fitness tracker or music player. It just looks a little...helicopter-mom-aggressive to me. But I would one hundred percent take the portable personal air system on the airplane with me, and set it up on my tray table during flights, because the number of people I see sneezing and hacking, and smell off-gassing various substances from various bodily orifices makes me feel sick even before all of their bacteria and viruses infiltrate my system.
The FitAir was designed to cleanse 25 square feet of indoor or outdoor air around you of viruses, smoke, bacteria, allergens, and other harmful microbes. The cylinders come fitted with a medical grade H13 HEPA filter able to remove microbes as small as 0.3 microns, and stave off common allergens including pollen, mold, pet dander, dust mites, smoke, and pollution.
The purifier weighs just 5.6 ounces for packing and pulling out anywhere, plus comes with an armband you can split and attach the FitAir to to provide constant filtering while you're walking, cleaning the house, or otherwise on the move.
FitAir also has Bluetooth connectivity and an accompanying app that will give air quality readouts, and calculate your HEPA filter's and FitAir battery's remaining lives. The former will last 1 to 2 months in a polluted area, and 2 to 4 in cleaner air; FitAir purchases come with 2 starter filters.
In addition to travelers grossed out by other travelers, the FitAir purification system was designed with people with allergies or asthma in mind, as well as those living with small children, the elderly, or others more susceptible to bacterial and viral infections.
