SingStand Home Karaoke System
I'm not much of a singer but I do enjoy going to the karaoke bar and singing Clarence Carter's smash hit "Strokin'" for all the ladies every now and again. Seems like I'm always one upped by a stocky guy in a flannel shirt and yellow puffy vest though. That dude sings "Alone" by Heart. Like, better than Heart. Mouth wide open, veins popping out of his forehead, beads of sweat accumulating on his logger's beard. I can't compete. So most of the time I just stay home and dominate solo on my SingStand.
Memorex's SingStand 2 is an all-in-one karaoke system that connects to an MP3 player or tablet for limitless enjoyment singing along to your own playlists or karaoke mix downloads. It includes and integrated stereo speaker and microphone to ensure maximal projection, even when my mama keeps turning up the volume on the TV to try and drown me out. For true karaoke extravaganzas, the SingStand 2 can also incorporate a guitar or keyboard accompaniment with its instrument input jack.
The SingStand karaoke system's built-in cradle holds music players in place for easy lyrics viewing during performances. While the machine comes with just one microphone, it does have two mic jacks for the addition of a second that will facilitate killer party duets of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's "Islands in the Stream" or Jay-Z and DMX's "Money, Cash, Hoes".
