About the Black Zirconium & Copper Ring

JR Yates designed his Scorch Black Zirconium & Copper Ring for men who like to use their hands along with dressing them up. Its black zirconium foundation is nearly scratch proof, and though the distressed copper inlay shines at first, over time it will patina to a unique and finely aged finish. Just, Yates points out, like you.

Fabricating the ring entails swedging its copper component inside the black zirconium, such that the result is essentially 2 rings, fused with pressure and united forever. Like me and my lucky underwear. Once in place, Yates polishes the copper flush with the zirconium, and then applies a textured hammer finish by hand. Final ring width is 8.5mm. It is available in half sizes from 8 to 12.
