About the Fuego Element Grill

The Fuego Elementwas created by former Apple Chief Designer Robert Brunner and entrepreneur Alex Siow, and has won at least 4 design and function awards, plus a host of rave reviews since its 2011 debut. Though capable of outputting 21,000 BTU/hr and heating to 500 degrees F in just 5 minutes, the Element has a mere 23" diameter wheelbase. That means it's small enough to set up on an apartment patio or balcony, or roll out to the street curb to show the kiddos next door the real money's in brats and dogs, not powdered lemonade. With a maximum temperature of 700 degrees F, the gas grill also promises heat hot enough for searing, and its 15-pound porcelain-enamel cast iron grate claims to brand grill marks on steaks as savagely magnificent and mouthwatering as those that emerge from charcoal or wood-fired cookers.

The Element's patent-pending Dual Zone Burner System combines the power of its dual-ring stainless steel burner, heft of the 21" grate, and seamless collaboration of a lightweight hood with integrated heat reflector to achieve its fast pre-heat times and broad 250- to 700-degree F temperature range. The grate's cast iron composition promotes even heat distribution, as well as enables edge-to-edge cooking on its 346-square-inch surface. Translating from Math to Meat, that's enough space and gusto to grill 16 quarter pounders at once. The Element will also bake thin-crust pizza to cracker crispness, or slow roast a slab of pork all day long. Calibrated for peak efficiency, the grill should provide over 20 hours of use per LP tank at max power.
