Now this looks like a fun project for a Wednesday night. Gather up all of the remote controls with buttons to which I must apply approximately 18 kilonewtons of force* to get to work, and fix them with some goo that looks like shoe polish. Keypad Fix cleans and restores conductivity to the carbon on controllers' keys and copper PC board pads so their contacts respond as they used to to gentle presses and caresses. It's like Passion Lube for electronics.
Keypad Fix revives TV remotes, game controllers, and security keypads. Each jar contains enough of the carbon-rousing compound to coat over 200 button contacts.
