Stretch Clock - Make a Clock Out of Any Object
Oh good, what the Stretch Clock really is is a giant rubber band with a quartz movement and hour and minute hands you can assemble and stretch around any object to make yourself a DIY timepiece. With all the pedantic, naggy activity trackers, meditation gadgets, smartphone alerts, and mamas out there, I figured a Stretch Clock would be some device with different yoga poses at every number that sounds alarms all throughout the day to remind you to get up and do the stretches it's pointing to.
Designed by Nicholas Baker of Almost Object, the Stretch Clock's rubber...band has a magnum-sized 19.5" diameter and 2.4" width, so it will fit over larger objects, as well as those of formidable heft and girth. You can choose a horizontal or vertical clock setup as well, with the 12 and 6 hours printed on one side of the Stretch Clock and 9 and 3 on the other.
