The Kiss Teacup & Saucer
I wouldn't normally appreciate a schmoopy design like The Kiss Teacup & Saucer, but Mila Arkhipovat's kissy-face couple brings as much creativity and refinement to the table as they do schmoopiness.
First of all, Arkhipovat's decision to create the perfect peck on the lips between two lovers by combining a puckered-up teacup with a puckered-up version of its natural other half, the saucer, exhibits Dudeworthy levels of cleverness. These are further enhanced by the teacup's handle, the kissin' dude's ear.
His big ol' ear, I might add, which also sticks out like Alfred E. Neuman's. But rather than looking goofy and cartoonish, The Kiss Teacup & Saucer look artful, thanks to Arkhipovat's elegant hand-molded curves and neutral colors. That Teacup Dude's eyes are closed and Saucer Lady's face starts just below her eyes also adds to the kissing dishes' subtlety, methinks.
I give The Kiss Teacup & Saucer two thumbs up and two lips out.
