Weber SmokeFire Wood Fired Pellet Grills
Now that the shortest day of the year is behind us, Weber knows what time it is: time to start thinking about grilling season! Their SmokeFire Wood Fired Pellet Grills should be ready to ship on January 25, 2020, and at printing the all-in-one BBQ / smokers were listed for pre-order at a slight discount.
The SmokeFire Grill series includes the EX6 and smaller EX4 wood fired pellet grills (see the EX4 here). Both can sear and smoke your food at any temperature from 200 to 600 degrees F, and if your piehole is feeling more like a peach pie than a slab of brisket one fine summer evening, the SmokeFire can bake that for you as well. Mmmm a slice of Georgia peach pie from the grill. The only thing that sounds as good as that is the shot of Tennessee whiskey I'd take down with it.
SmokeFire EX4 & EX6 pellet grills have a DC-powered engine designed to prevent auger jams. The EX4 has 672 square inches of cooking space, while the EX6 has 1,008. Additional features include:
- An internal ash and grease collection system that stores the remnant crud in an easy-clean drawer, out of sight.
- Porcelain-enameled finish for year-round outdoor use, and protection against rusting, cracking, and peeling.
- Flavorizer bars made to distribute heat evenly across the cooking grate, and prevent hot / cold spots.
- A Weber Connect app that links to the SmokeFire Grill. The app provides step-by-step notifications on when it's time to flip and serve food, and gives you a readiness countdown clock.
