Yeah, this will power my ego alright. The EGO Power+ Chainsaw claims its 14" bar and chain, and smooth, high-efficiency brushless motor will provide Power Beyond Belief. They even capitalize "Power Beyond Belief" because it's apparently so unbelievable that even its description is worthy of a proper noun. The chainsaw's owners, at least those who have weighed in on Amazon, seem to agree.
A 56V, 2.0Ah rechargeable li-ion battery drives the standard EGO Power+, with an option to upgrade to a 2.5Ah battery kit for longer use. The company says the former can handle up to 100 cuts per charge. Additional chainsaw specs include: 6300RPM motor; reversible bar; chain kickback brake; chain tension adjustment; and water-resistant construction.
