National Park Scented Safety Matches
I feel like National Park Scented Safety Matches should be less of a fun gift for outdoors enthusiasts and more, like...a bad April Fool's joke. With all the forest fires we've been plagued with the past several years? It's like, "Strike a Redwood Scented Safety Match, and smell that burn!" Or, "What's this, matches that smell like Rocky Mountain National Park? Ooh! Light 'em up, and let that fire rage!"
In all fairness, National Park Scented Safety Matches are an extension of maker Good & Well Supply Co.'s line of other, less ironic national park scented items. Candles. Incense. Car air fresheners. And the matches' scents themselves are more national park-inspired than they are attempts to capture what the parks would smell like when they're on fire. For example, the Redwood Scented Safety Matches smell like oakmoss, sage, citrus, and damp earth, while the Grand Canyon Scented Safety Matches smell like cedarwood, labdanum, and...oh. Charred pine.
