Shark OFF Shark Repellent Bracelet
They say Shark OFF is "kryptonite for sharks!" Awww. Not that there's anything wrong with a shark repellent bracelet, if you're a surfer, diver, boater, or swimmer of the oceans. But when I read the words "Shark OFF" I was just kind of hoping the bracelet would be of the Tenga Easy Beat Egg persuasion. You know, a male masturbatory aid.
What, dude? It's a rainy, boring Saturday afternoon. I have nothing better to do, and I would definitely like to have something that makes what I'm about to do better.
But for those of you headed to the beach or out in the open water, those who have the Shark OFF bracelet's true target to contend with, its makers say the leather, wood beads, and cording have been infused with an "active element" - something to do with electricity and sharks' sensitivity to it - patented to repel sharks without causing them harm. Humans and other marine life are safe to wear a Shark OFF too.
The Shark OFF bracelet is designed to maintain its effectiveness for hundreds of hours, but I'm not clear on whether that's hundreds of hours of use, or just hundreds of hours post-fabrication, which could be two drastically, and dreadfully, different things.
The Shark OFF repellent bracelet is adjustable to fit on wrists and ankles ranging from 6" to 17" around.
