Ace Marks Handcrafted Dress Shoes & Sneakers
When you have an ace in the hole with footwear handmade by Italian craftsmen who also create shoes for luxury brands, and an X marking the spot that most men can afford to pay to deck out their feet, you get Ace Marks. Fine Italian dress shoes for under $200.
Ace Marks launched in 2016 with a Kickstarter campaign that earned it more funding than any other shoe in the crowdfunding site's history. They followed it up in 2017, and one year later they're back with a 2018 collection, also on Kickstarter, that debuts an Ace Marks dress sneaker collection along with new dress shoes.
All Ace Marks dress shoes are made of full grain calf skin leather that is built, dyed, and burnished by hand, courtesy of a family of 4th generation master craftsmen. The cobblers also work for labels that sell their shoes for $600+, but Ace Marks is committed to keeping their lines affordable to all men who want to exude class without paying out the.... Dress shoes are assembled using bake flex construction, which returns a light, flexible feel that doesn't require a break-in period. Ace Marks also prides itself on a proprietary "Ace" design for wear that reduces common pressure points on the ball and heel of the foot for comfortable wear over a long day.
New to the Ace Marks portfolio is a dress sneaker collection, reflecting the same Ace Marks principles of style and affordability in a series of elevated athletic shoes. Low- and hi-top full grain calfskin leather sneakers that would typically retail in the $400 range are available for less than $170. The sneakers feature pillow-padded tongues and collars, removable insoles that are shock-absorbing and lined with calf skin, stitched rubber outsoles, and waxed shoe laces.
Through April 25, 2018, Ace Marks is offering Kickstarter backers their choice of any style, color, and size shoe in the 2017 collection. $169 will send a pair of sneakers and $199 a pair of dress shoes home with backers. Check out your style and color options here.
Another Ace Marks Perk: Wear your pair 'til you wear them out, and then send them back to Ace Marks for a $60 credit towards new ones. The company has partnered with Career Gear to buy back and donate all of their used footwear.
