GARY prevents your earphones and cables from twisting, tangling, knotting, crimping, and spiraling into entropy. Yes, GARY is an organizer of wires. But according to its creators, it isn't just your average organizer of wires. Those are the kinds that inspired them to build GARY in the first place.

Trying one automatic or trigger-activated cable feeder after the other they found each one to be, at best, average in all areas--construction, performance, style, bulk. And since it seemed like a simple enough request to have an organizer that's nicely built, easy to use, easy to carry, and doesn't break after a week, they went ahead and made one themselves. And called it GARY. After Gary Busey, as an indication of just how powerful this tool is for reeling in and holding down things that are a complete mess.

Just kidding. I don't know why they named it GARY.

I do know that the sleek and ultra-slim GARY you see here is the 2.0 version of the organizer. Its new smooth, minimalist design is just 0.7" thick and 2.4" wide. Better, GARY 2.0 will load your earbuds or cable in about 2 seconds with its clever little auto-spool feature--check out the GIF. Removal is just as easy, though you'll have to commandeer it with a tug; the mechanism won't spit the wires back out at you in reverse.

GARY 2.0 is currently seeking IndieGoGo crowdfunding here. And since it's part of a flexible funding campaign, those who click through to pledge for one will be in line for the organizer whether GARY reaches its $12,000+ goal or not.
