Matador Waterproof Packable Backpack
Matador is known for their ability to make big stuff little, and stuff it into even littler stuff. The Pocket Blanket. The Droplet Wet Bag. And, here, the FreeRain24 Waterproof Packable Backpack.
In use the FreeRain24 provides 24 liters of storage space in a waterproof main compartment. It's made of 30D Cordura nylon, and the wetness-eschewing area has fully sealed seams with a hidden Hypalon rolltop closure. When you don't need it, the backpack folds and rolls into an ultralight, ultracompact 157-gram, 5" x 3" x 2.5" bundle that slips into a corded carry sack.
Travelers, summit-seekers, and athletes who regularly strip themselves of sweat-doused clothing before heading home can benefit from the daypack's inordinately small footprint on one leg of their trip, but still have the space, performance, and resilience they need on the other. Additional FreeRain24 specs include: ITW Nexus hardware and YKK zippers; adjustable top stabilizers for a more ergonomic fit; breathable airflow straps; and an additional (not waterproof) vertical zipper, plus a pair of side pockets on the outside.
