Maclaren's toothy Shark Buggy wins the Best Shark Merch Award for 2017. (The Animatronic Shark Costume took 2016, while 2013, 2014, and 2015 all went to the Sharkini.) Seeing a kid chillin' between the jaws of this delightful stroller might even make me more sympathetic to how he's had a long day and missed his nap when he starts screaming and demanding his iPad and a Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino while his mom yaks on her phone in the line at Starbucks.
Probably not, but maybe.
British artist Philip Colbert collaborated with Maclaren to bring the Shark Buggy to life in Parent Land. It has a reclining seat and plastic cover printed with a second set of bottom teeth to maintain the shark theme rain or shine. The stroller folds for non-strolling transport and storage, and weighs 7.7 pounds.
Shark Buggys are not intended for parents under the age of I Have No Sense of Humor, or over the age of My Favorite Pastime Is Being Offended.
