Bristl takes the OG bristles of a manual toothbrush, puts them on the NewG wand of an electric toothbrush handle, and then goes all FutureG with brush head backlighting that makes your daily oral health routine look like a disco in your mouth. A phototherapeutic disco, to be exact.

But for everyone else, Bristl promises its colorful emissions are about more than providing mood lighting for your oral cavities. The blue light is UV-charged to whiten your teeth and kill bacteria while you brush. Switch over to the red light for some soothing and healing gum therapy. Then go to purple for...well, OK. I think the purple is just there to add some visual interest to the monotony of two-minute, twice-daily tooth brushing.

According to Bristl, light therapy has been prevalent in dentistry for some time, and is proven to reduce gum bleeding, reduce bacteria, and cure gingivitis. Their electric toothbrush brings these benefits home, and integrates them into an existing part of your personal hygiene regimen.

In addition to button-clicking through its 3 light modes, you can also switch the Bristl toothbrush between gentle (12,000 rpm) and strong (24,000 rpm) modes. It includes a charging cable and a rechargeable battery that lasts around 3 weeks when used 3 times per day.
