And I thought a Costco-sized can of baked beans was big. The stock-up store's contributions to hunger management have always been supersized, so it should come as no surprise that their idea of an emergency preparedness food supply is similarly gigantic. Costco, by way of manufacturer THRIVE, has you covered for an entire year of apocalyptic mayhem...or an inability to tear yourself away from Call of Duty long enough to go to the store.

THRIVE's food supply package provides 365 days of meals for one. That's 120, 1-gallon cans of fruits, vegetables, meat/protein, beans, grains, dairy, and basic essentials. That's also over 9,500 individual servings and, given the total cost of the truckload was $1,500 at printing, about $4.11 per day to eat like a survivor. A THRIVE cookbook explaining WTF to do with a can of pearled barley and whole egg powder is included as well. Some additional obvious math: the 1 year of food storage for 1 person breaks down to 6 months of food for 2 people and 3 months for 4.
